Rang-du-Fliers, beside Berck-sur-Mer, opens onto the Bay of Authie, an estuary of marshes and dunes where migratory birds nest and where the tide uncovers vast sandbanks visible from kilometres away. Camping La Gaieté has a bar, barbecue areas, bungalows, a gym, a playground, fishing, pétanque, and indoor and outdoor pools, with the beach of Berck a short distance away, famous for its long tradition as a thalassotherapy resort. The indoor pool completes the relaxation on offer after a walk through the dunes. It is best to check the season's opening dates with the campsite itself before travelling.
