Description of the campsite
The Aiguilles de Bavella rise like needles of pink granite above Zonza, one of the most spectacular mountain landscapes in Corsica, far from the beach atmosphere that dominates the rest of the island in summer. Camping Bavella Vista, as its name suggests, has direct views of this massif, with a bar as a meeting point and a playground for families, and dogs are allowed. It is a good starting point for mountain hiking, with trails climbing towards the Col de Bavella and its views of the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio, down on the coast. The contrast between granite, pine forests and sea makes this area one of the most distinctive on the island.
