Description of the campsite
Treffiagat borders Le Guilvinec, one of the busiest fishing ports in France, where every afternoon the fish market holds the auction of fresh fish in the heart of the Pays Bigouden, the coastal area of southern Finistère. Camping Le Lehan has its own bar, bakery and supermarket and facilities adapted for people with reduced mobility, and dogs are allowed. The beach is close, a short walk away, with the seafaring atmosphere that characterises this whole coast. The Pays Bigouden also preserves a very marked cultural identity, visible in its traditional costumes and in the port of Guilvinec itself, which can be visited at dusk to watch the fishing fleet come in.
