Plobannalec-Lesconil brings together two seafaring villages of the Cornouaille in Finistère, with active fishing ports and white sand beaches that follow one another towards Loctudy and the mouth of the Pont-l'Abbé river. Camping Les Sables Blancs, a seasonal campsite, has bungalows and wifi as its main facilities, with the beach of the same name, of pale sand, a short distance away, ideal for quiet swimming away from the big Breton tourist crowds. It is a simple base for exploring this coast of fishing villages, with Pont-l'Abbé and its Bigouden museum nearby.
