Description of the campsite
Le Clos du Blavet is in Bieuzy, beside the Blavet river, in the stretch of wooded gorges that the Nantes–Brest canal uses to cross inland Brittany on its way to Pontivy. The landscape, with steep slopes and small river ports such as Saint-Nicolas-des-Eaux, contrasts with the better-known coastal Brittany. The campsite has a bar, bungalows, takeaway food, glamping, pétanque, a pool, hiking, a supermarket and wifi, and fishing in the river itself is a deeply rooted tradition in the area. It is open for the full season, although it is advisable to confirm the exact dates before booking.
