Description of the campsite
Plomeur is home to the Pointe de la Torche, one of the best-known surf spots in France, a rocky headland battered by the Atlantic between the Bay of Audierne and the Pointe de Penmarc'h, in the heart of Breton Cornouaille. Camping de la Torche, a seasonal campsite, has indoor and outdoor pools, a bar, bungalows, fishing, a restaurant, hiking, a spa, television and wifi, and pets are accepted, with the beach a short distance away for surfers and swimmers. It is a very complete base for surfing, kitesurfing or walks along the low cliffs of this coast exposed to the Atlantic swell. As it is a seasonal campsite, it is advisable to confirm the exact opening dates before visiting.
