Description of the campsite
At 850 m above sea level, at the foot of the Sancy massif, Camping de Tauves covers 3.5 wooded, flowery hectares with 72 pitches, between the Puy-de-Dôme and the Puy de Sancy, beside a volcano park surrounded by forests and lakes. It rents fully equipped mobile homes and nature cabins without toilet facilities. The village of Tauves is 300 m away; the lake of La Tour d'Auvergne, 8 km, and the spa of La Bourboule, 13 km. It has a bar, barbecues and an outdoor pool from June to September; next to the campsite there is a municipal stadium and, in July and August, a kids' club for ages 6 to 12. It is open from April to September.
