Description of the campsite
Thirty-two shaded pitches in the centre of the village, at a human scale, among the mountains of the Diois, between the Vercors and Provence: Camping des Écureuils is small and peaceful. It is in Recoubeau-Jansac, in the Drôme, with a grocery shop, tobacconist-bar, post office and tearoom close at hand, and the river 600 metres away. Nearby are the medieval villages of the Diois, the Vallon de Combau and the Cirque d'Archiane. For sleeping there are 27 m² mobile homes for 1 to 4 people, a 35 m² A-frame cabin and a 25 m² geodesic dome, both handcrafted and eco-designed, and one of the accommodations has a bathroom with a private hammam. It is best to check the opening dates with the campsite.
