Saint-Nectaire gives its name to one of the best-known cheeses in France and lies among extinct volcanoes, in the heart of the Monts Dore, with thermal baths and mineral waters that have attracted visitors since the nineteenth century. Camping La Clé des Champs combines bungalows with a notable relaxation offer: an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna and a spa, plus a restaurant and a playground, not forgetting the hiking routes that climb towards the volcanic puys (volcanic peaks). It is a convenient base for exploring the Auvergne Volcanoes Park without giving up comforts after each excursion. The season runs continuously, although it is advisable to reconfirm the exact opening dates in advance.
