Description of the campsite
Le Bourg-d'Oisans lives off cycling and the mountains: at the foot of the passes that climb to l'Alpe d'Huez, with the Ecrins massif cut out against the sky behind it and the Romanche valley running past the town. Camping La Cascade is a simple base for those arriving with their bikes or hiking boots loaded up, with a bar to talk over the stage just ridden or plan tomorrow's among cyclists and walkers passing through the Dauphiné. The surroundings combine Alpine peaks, meltwater torrents and rural villages away from the busiest routes, perfect for an active break in Isère.
