Description of the campsite
A few metres from where the bends up to l'Alpe d'Huez begin, Le Bourg-d'Oisans gathers cyclists from half the world in summer and in winter serves as a gateway to the Dauphiné ski resorts, with the Ecrins massif always present on the horizon. Camping à la Rencontre du Soleil stands out with air-conditioned accommodation, bungalows and glamping tents, an outdoor and indoor pool, a bar and a restaurant, as well as hiking routes that leave directly towards the mountains. Dogs are allowed and there is wifi throughout the site. It is a more complete option than other campsites in the same village for those looking for comfort after the effort on the bike or the trail. The campsite is open all season; it is best, however, to reconfirm the exact dates before the trip.
