Description of the campsite
Campsite, hotel and cottages since 1981: Domaine Les Ranchisses, in Chassiers, in the Ardèche, within the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park. The aquatic area has a children's zone with slides, a pool, a lap lane and an indoor pool for adults; the Naturspa adds a hammam, sauna and bubble baths. The hotel occupies restored farmhouses, with 12 rooms, and the cottages have 600 to 1,000 m² of outdoor space. You dine in a former silkworm nursery building from 1824, with a vaulted exposed-stone hall, or at La Brasérade, a grill table where the cook is the guest. There is also minigolf, canoeing, archery, a skate park, a mini club and river swimming. It is open from April to September.
