Description of the campsite
Camping Les Alouettes, in Bretignolles-sur-Mer (Vendée), has two faces: peaceful in the low season and lively in July and August, with activities for all ages. It is a human-scale campsite, with 130 pitches in a wooded park between Les Sables-d'Olonne and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, and a lagoon for walks. The indoor pool is open from April to September and the outdoor one, with a slide, in July and August; there are also a giant trampoline, futsal, basketball, volleyball, pétanque and a kids' club. The sandy beaches are 5 minutes away by car, and La Sauzaie and Les Dunes attract surfers of any level. It is best to check the opening dates with the campsite.
