From the heated pool of Flower Camping L'Île d'Offard you can see the château of Saumur, and that is a good introduction. With more than 200 pitches in a green setting, it offers glamping in fabric ecolodges and in wooden cabins on stilts (VIP Lodges). It holds the Accueil Vélo and Loire à Vélo labels and rents bicycles; the Vignobles et Découverte label shows in the sales point for local wines. From Saumur, in Maine-et-Loire, you can visit the château and discover the horsemanship of the Cadre Noir and the horsemen's museum. There are also a spa, a sauna, a restaurant and a supermarket. Open from mid-March to early November.
