Description of the campsite
With 42 hectares between the sea and the Camargue, Camping de l'Espiguette is one of the largest in Europe. L'Espiguette beach, with dunes classified as a Grand Site de France in 2014, is a 15-20 minute walk or 5 by bike, and you can visit the 27 m lighthouse. The 326 lodges, for 2 to 10 people, include 8 adapted ones. By day and by night there is entertainment in season, with sport, contests and foam parties, and the 10 m Kamikaze slide is for the brave. There are bicycles for hire and a harbour for launching boats. It is in Le Grau-du-Roi, in the Gard, and is open between April and October.
