Between the Coubre coastal forest and the beaches of La Palmyre, Camping L'Orée du Bois is a five-star campsite with 287 rental accommodations and 102 pitches. Its 2,000 m² heated water park adds slides, pools and hydromassage tubs, and the spa adds a sauna and hammam. The programme offers bike rides, tree-top adventure and free kids' clubs. The Vélodyssée leads through the forest to the Coubre lighthouse, and the wild-coast beaches are 4 kilometres away. It is in Les Mathes, in Charente-Maritime, and is open from April to September.
