Description of the campsite
Between a lake and some hills, Camping de Matour covers 3 wooded hectares beside a pond, with 78 spacious, shaded pitches and 8 nature lodges without sanitary facilities (glamping). The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. Days are spent at the fishing pond with picnic areas, at the adjoining minigolf, free to use, and in July and August at the municipal water complex: three pools, a slide, jacuzzi, sauna and sunbathing area. Matour, in Saône-et-Loire, is 20 minutes from Cluny and is a good base for exploring a rolling region by bike or on foot; the village is 500 metres away and La Clayette castle 20 km. It welcomes visitors from mid-March to early November.
