Description of the campsite
Campingplatz Hemmelmark has nearly 1 km of sandy beach, with a stretch of its own, for sunbathing, swimming, water sports and fishing. Barkelsby, in Schleswig-Holstein, is just 4 km from Eckernförde, on the Eckernförde bay, and from the campsite walking and hiking routes lead through forest, meadows and fields. It is open from the end of March to the beginning of October. Those with a caravan can leave it stored over the winter. It has electricity, a motorhome service station and a laundry.
