Camping Königstein

Description of the campsite

Camping Königstein occupies the bank of the Elbe, on the edge of the small town of Königstein, below the fortress and opposite the Lilienstein. It is in Saxony, between Dresden and the Czech border. Most pitches are on a level meadow by the river and others on higher terraces; from all of them there are views of the Elbe, the Lilienstein and the fortress. For tents there is a cover that protects from rain and gives shade. Next to the campsite canoes, inflatable boats and bicycles can be rented, and the Elberadweg (Elbe cycle route) passes by. About 800 m away there is an S-Bahn, a bus and a landing stage, so you can visit the area without a car. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
