Description of the campsite
Camping-Freizeitzentrum Sägmühle, in Trippstadt, lies by a swimming lake, in the heart of the Pfälzerwald forest and within the biosphere reserve, in Rhineland-Palatinate. There are pitches directly by the lake, all with an electrical hookup, and dogs are allowed. Those who bring neither a tent nor a caravan can rent sleeping barrels, witch cottages or mobile homes. For children there are playgrounds, one with a castle, and minigolf. The site also has a tennis court, pétanque, giant chess, table tennis, a restaurant and wifi. The Karlstal valley is a few kilometres away and six routes start from Johanniskreuz, about 5 km away. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
