Description of the campsite
Campingplatz Dörenther Klippen, in Ibbenbüren-Dörenthe, is a small, family campsite sheltered in the forest, at the foot of the Dörenther Klippen. It offers nine green transit pitches and a tent area under large trees. From there you can reach almost directly on foot the trails of the sandstone rocks, the Hockende Weib and three climbing areas. The ridge trail of the Teutoburger Wald passes next to the rocks, and there is a 9.3 km Premium circular route with wide views. It lies where the Münsterland meets the Teutoburger Wald, in North Rhine-Westphalia. Next to the campsite is the Gasthof Dörenther Klippen. Dogs are allowed. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
