Description of the campsite
Campingplatz SchiederSee, in Schieder, is beside the lake, at the foot of the Teutoburger Wald, in North Rhine-Westphalia. Its motorhome area is one of the largest in Germany, with room for up to 200 vehicles, and there are pitches with lake views and right on the lakefront. You can discover the lake in rental pedal boats, with SUP boards and SUP courses for beginners and advanced paddlers. The Café Restaurant «Breitengrad» is in the lake's leisure centre. The thermal park and the heated outdoor pool are about 700 m away, and dogs are welcome. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
