Description of the campsite
Camp-Hammer, in Simmerath (North Rhine-Westphalia), presents itself as a «favourite place» in the Nationalpark Eifel and is a certified park host, trained in the particularities of the park and the region. It describes itself as a «SternenGastgeber» (star host) in the Sternenlandschaft Eifel: at night almost all the light is deliberately switched off to preserve the natural night and enjoy a special starry sky. It rents out a holiday house called «Polarstern» and has a sauna and a hot tub (whirlpool bath), both for up to 7 people. Dogs are allowed and there is a hot shower, a laundry and wifi. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
