Description of the campsite
Campingpark Hochsauerland, in Winterberg (North Rhine-Westphalia), is a 4-star campsite laid out in terraces, next to the ski resort and with direct access to the Skiliftkarussell. It has about 220 pitches spread over about 7 ha, all with electricity and most with drainage, plus a large tent meadow between its two areas. The centre of Winterberg is about 10 minutes away on foot, as are the summer toboggan runs and the zip line under the ski jump. Just 1.5 km away is the entrance to the Bike Arena and the Trailpark, and the campsite rents bicycles. Next to the site there is a playground and a ping-pong table, and there is a daily bread roll service. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
