Description of the campsite
Campingplatz Wesertal is on the outskirts of Oedelsheim, in northern Hesse, beside the Weser river and in the heart of the Weserbergland countryside. Its holiday pitches, between 75 and 140 m², are marked out and look from the sunny side of the valley across to the Wesertal and the Reinhardswald. Guests use the indoor pool, with 4 lanes of 25 m and an area for non-swimmers with a slide, and the open-air pool in Gieselwerder free of charge. There is a landing stage with a canoe jetty and a boat ramp, and the campsite is on the Weserradweg. A cable ferry crosses to the Naturpark Reinhardswald and its Sababurg primeval forest. Dogs are allowed, with a shower for them and a lead required. Open from March to October.
