Camping Resort Bayerwald, in Waldkirchen, is a comfort campsite open all year in the Bavarian Forest. It spreads over a gentle slope, next to the forest and in sunny clearings, and dogs are welcome throughout the site. It offers comfort pitches with electricity, water and drainage, premium pitches, a motorhome area, sleeping barrels and rental accommodation. There is a natural pond for swimming, a playground, a mini zoo and the restaurant «zum Sepp» next to the campsite. Passau is about 30 km away, the Saußbachklamm 2 km away with a hiking trail and the Karoli Badepark 3 km away.
