Description of the campsite
Gut Horn occupies a restored historic estate from the 13th century, on the eastern shore of the Waginger See, in Waging am See. It has 400 metres of its own beach, with a view of the Salzburg Alps and the Chiemgau. The lake is advertised as the warmest swimming lake in Bavaria. There are 2 electric boats, 2 pedal boats and 2 rowing boats, a 15-hole minigolf course and 2 playgrounds. Dogs are allowed and have their own beach area. It has an Edeka supermarket, a daily bakery, washing machines and a restaurant with a lakeside terrace. Apartments for 2 to 6 people can be rented. Open from April to October.
