Description of the campsite
Campingplatz Staufeneck occupies in Piding a flat site of about 2.4 ha by the Saalach river. Old trees shade the pitches, of 70 to 100 m², in a protected landscape area at 470 m above sea level, in Bavaria. There are about 80 pitches for tourists and a car-free tent area for 13 small tents. Dogs are only allowed in the lower part and the grill works only with gas or electricity. The supermarkets are 1.5 km away. It is open from May to October and has existed since the 1960s.
