Description of the campsite
Campingplatz Pilsensee, in Seefeld, covers about 100,000 m² on the shore of the Pilsensee, with a large bathing meadow and the Alps as a backdrop over the crystal-clear waters. It is southwest of Munich, in the Starnberg Five Lakes region, in Bavaria. It offers glamping by the lake: a "Schlaffass" (sleeping barrel) for up to 4 people, a hunting cabin and a mobile home. On site there is a restaurant, kiosk and minimarket. It is a good starting point for cycling and walking routes. The S8 Seefeld-Hechendorf suburban train station is about 1.8 km away and the centre of Munich about 40 minutes. It opens from March to November.
