Description of the campsite
Campingplatz Kupferschmiede looks out over the Chiemsee from its northern shore, in Chieming. There are sunny pitches and others in the shade, in a wooded setting, and the lake can be reached quickly and easily from the campsite. The Chiemsee, the largest lake in Bavaria, offers paddle boarding and hire of pedal boats and electric boats, and nearby you can go horse riding or play golf and tennis. Excursions lead to the Herrenchiemsee islands, with their palace, and to Fraueninsel; Salzburg, München and Kufstein are a day trip away. It is open from April to October and dogs are allowed.
