Description of the campsite
Camping Resort Zugspitze, in Grainau (Bavaria), lies right below the Zugspitze and is open all year. It is a five-star campsite with comfort or premium pitches, mountain cabins, an apartment and a tree house, all with mountain views. Inside the resort there is a sauna, wellness area, gym, restaurant and playground. Electric bikes and cars can be rented to visit the Eibsee, the Zugspitze or Garmisch-Partenkirchen. A circular dog trail follows the Hammersbach and ends at a Kneipp pool with water from the stream. Dogs are welcome on the pitches, but not in the rental accommodation.
