Description of the campsite
Almdorado stands in Übersee am Chiemsee, between the Chiemsee and the Bavarian Alps, surrounded by the Tiroler Ache river. It offers alpine huts: «Hochfelln», «Kampenwand», «Rauschberg» and «Wilder Kaiser». One is the luxury version, with room for up to 4 people, and another has a fully equipped kitchen. Those who prefer a tent have a meadow, and a complete tent can also be rented without having to pitch it. Cooking is done in the shared kitchen of the «Almstadl».
It is in Bavaria, near the A8 and the Munich-Salzburg railway line, and serves as a starting point for bike rides around the Chiemgau. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
