Description of the campsite
Freizeit - Camp - Nordheide e.V. is in Garlstorf, in the heart of the Lüneburg Heath nature park, next to the Garlstorf forest. In Lower Saxony it has more than 45 years of history. It lies next to the A7 and yet is a place of calm. From here, walking and cycling routes lead through the woods and heathland, for families and dogs. Forest and meadows border the campsite for walks as soon as you arrive. The spacious pitches are suitable for a tent, caravan or motorhome. There is a playground. The common room, always open, has a microwave, board games and books. Salzhausen, with shops and restaurants, is 5 km away. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
