Description of the campsite
Camping beim Stausee, in Schömberg, is next to the reservoir, with bathing, and 200 metres away there is a petting zoo. It belongs to Baden-Württemberg and lies in the Obere Schlichemtal, from where day trips go to the Schwäbische Alb, the Black Forest, the Danube valley and Lake Constance. In the area are the «zehn Tausender», the highest mountains of the Schwäbische Alb, and visits are suggested to the Burg Hohenzollern, the Bärenhöhle and the Traumland park in Sonnenbühl. It allows dogs, has wifi and a laundry, and is adapted for people with disabilities. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
