Description of the campsite
Buchseehof, in Fronreute-Blitzenreute, is a small, quiet campsite where you camp in an orchard by the lake, with space for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Dogs are allowed. It belongs to Baden-Württemberg, in the heart of Oberschwaben (590 m), north-west of Ravensburg. The Buchsee, a small bog lake of about 6 ha, is a nature reserve and does not allow swimming, but there are bathing lakes nearby such as «Altshauser Weiher», «Königseggsee», «Häcklerweiher» and «Bibersee». The farm offers games for children and a shop with its own and regional products. There are cycle routes and trails nearby, and holiday apartments right on the shore of the Buchsee. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
