Description of the campsite
Campingplatz Sonneneck, in Ellenberg, occupies a south-facing slope by the Haselbachsee reservoir, near Ellwangen. It has its own bathing beach with a bathing island, and a jetty for sailing and water sports. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with a playground, a baby bath and a barbecue area. For relaxing there is a Finnish sauna and an infrared cabin, and the restaurant has a large sunny terrace. There is free wifi throughout the site and dogs are allowed. In Baden-Württemberg, a few minutes away are the longest tree bench in the world, a barefoot path and a boules court. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
