Description of the campsite
Camping Sulzbachtal lies on the outskirts of Sulzburg, at the foot of the vineyards of the southern Black Forest, in Baden-Württemberg. The region is the Markgräfler Land, nicknamed «Toskana Deutschlands». The campsite offers 95 spacious comfort pitches with electric hook-up, fully equipped caravans for rent, a natural swimming lake and a Vesperstube with a sunny terrace. Dogs are allowed, always on a lead. There are themed evenings of Schnitzel, pork knuckle, chicken and grill, some of them by the lake. On foot, the Weinlehrpfad is an educational wine trail among the vines, and a 5 km circular route goes through the tunnels of the former mining town. Bus excursions to Freiburg, Colmar or Basel can be booked at reception. Opening dates are best checked with the campsite.
