Camping Kirchzarten has 500 pitches in Kirchzarten, at the gates of Freiburg, in the southern Black Forest. About 365 are for tourists, 48 are comfort pitches with their own water, drainage and electricity, and many have open views of the Oberried valley towards the Schauinsland. Some are under large centuries-old trees and others in full sun. Apartments, igluhuts, mobile homes and caravans are for rent. Children have kids' entertainment in the holidays, and next to the campsite there is a heated outdoor pool, a restaurant and a mini-market. It is a campsite in Baden-Württemberg with the EU Ecolabel.
