Description of the campsite
Accommodation conditions: motorhomes are not allowed. Tent camping is reserved for organised, legally constituted groups; the bungalows are open to individuals, couples and families. Booking by e-mail at least 7 days in advance is required, along with approval from the Town Council.
Parque de Campismo dos Olhos d'Água do Alviela is located 5.3 km from Alcanena, in the village of Olhos de Água, on the banks of the Alviela river, within the Parque Natural das Serras de Aire e Candeeiros (PNSAC). The campsite offers direct access to the river beaches and the Alviela springs, the main entry point to the natural park. In the surrounding area you can visit the Church of Alcanena, the Gruta dos Alvados and the dinosaur footprint sites. The diversity of the surrounding landscape, with fauna and flora typical of its unique microclimates, makes it a starting point for relaxation and adventure sports. It has hot showers.
