Description of the campsite
Camping Ave is in Vila do Conde, beside the River Ave, one of the main rivers of northern Portugal, which flows into the Atlantic Ocean a few kilometres from the campsite. The beaches of Vila do Conde and Póvoa de Varzim are the nearest for those who prefer the sea. Its vegetation has been selected to preserve native species, combined with plants typical of northern Europe. It has a playground, bar, supermarket, barbecues, hot showers, electricity, shaded areas and bicycle rental. Reception is open from 8:00 to 21:00, and vehicles may enter and leave until 23:00.
