Description of the campsite
Gavião Nature Village is in Lugar de São Domingos, Cadafaz, in the municipality of Gavião (Portalegre, Portugal), near the Alamal river beach, beside the Tagus river. It has 10 Cork Shelters built with local resources, 13 glamping tents equipped and decorated to the standard of hotel rooms, and a traditional camping area with bell tents. All accommodation has a private bathroom. The site includes a wellness circuit with a jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath, as well as a Wellness Center. Its restaurant offers panoramic views of Belver Castle and regional Alto Alentejo cuisine with local products such as cured meats, olive oil and Alentejo wines.
