Description of the campsite
Camping Rio Verde is in Costacciaro, near Gubbio, within Monte Cucco Natural Park, in a valley washed by the Chiascio stream. Five hundred metres above sea level, its cool climate is helped by the lush surrounding vegetation. The numbered pitches avoid any feeling of being boxed in. It has 14 earthquake-resistant masonry chalets with kitchen, veranda and bathroom with shower, as well as camping areas. The restaurant, next to the pool, serves local culinary specialities. Services include a bar, barbecues, laundry, wifi, playground, pool, and activities such as hiking, canyoning, excursions and horse riding. Dogs are allowed and there is a shuttle service to the village.
