Description of the campsite
Camping Camaldoli is located in Poppi (Arezzo, Tuscany), within the Foreste Casentinesi National Park, 400 metres from the Monastero dei Monaci Camaldolesi and at an altitude of 815 metres. Set in a historic 7-hectare chestnut grove, the campsite spreads among chestnut, beech and fir trees, where deer and wild boar roam freely. It offers bungalows (from €45 a night), areas for tents and caravans, toilets with hot water heated by solar panels, adapted facilities, a supermarket, bicycle rental, barbecues and dishwashing sinks. It is an ideal starting point for hiking routes in the natural park, with deals available for longer stays.
