Description of the campsite
Camping La Mariposa, founded in 1956, is one of the first open-air campsites in Sardinia. It is located at the entrance to Alghero, in a pine wood with eucalyptus and juniper trees, just five metres from the white-sand beach of Lido di Alghero and 1.5 km from the old town. It has 125 equipped pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, as well as accommodation such as mobile homes, bungalows and chalets. Its main facilities include a restaurant, a supermarket, a bar, laundry, Wi-Fi, bicycle rental and activities such as surfing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Dogs are allowed. It is an ideal starting point for getting to know Alghero and its surroundings.
