Description of the campsite
Camping Campo Base, in Acceglio (Piedmont), is a stopover on the Percorsi Occitani, GTA, Via Alpina and Tour dello Chambeyron routes. It offers accommodation in double rooms and dormitories, as well as spacious grass pitches with electricity, beside the Maurin stream, for tents and motorhomes from mid-May to the end of September. In winter, there is access to 6 kilometres of cross-country ski trails, suitable for beginners and experts, at the foot of the Rocca Provenzale. The establishment has a restaurant, organises excursions and hiking, and its mountain setting invites you to enjoy the nearby river. It reopens on 29 May 2026.
