Camping Turist Il Gabbiano, run by the Cattorini family since 1987, is in Golasecca, in the Ticino Park biosphere reserve (Parco del Ticino), 40 km from Milan and 3 km from Sesto Calende railway station. It offers pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, as well as bungalows. It has moorings and a private jetty with access to Lake Maggiore and boat trips as far as Switzerland, with a nearby river as a bonus. It is a property aimed at those who want to combine rest in a protected setting with water activities. The A8 motorway, Sesto Calende exit, makes access easy from the Lombard capital.
