Excelsior human & dog campsite is in Monrupino, on the Karst plateau of Trieste, near the Fernetti border crossing and the motorway exit. It is open all year, from 8:00 to 22:00, and offers pitches with electricity, drinking water, hot showers, toilets, laundry and a fridge. It has bungalows to stay in, as well as a bar and restaurant. Among its attractions is the Fernetti abyss, a deep cave that can only be visited with suitable equipment. It is a campsite geared towards people and dogs: pets are accepted and there is a dog kennel with day and night supervision. The mountain setting and the closeness to Trieste invite you to explore the area all year round.
