Description of the campsite
Camping Torre di Velia is in Ascea, on the Campania coast, directly on the sea, at the foot of the promontory where the ancient city of Elea-Velia once stood, and has held the Blue Flag (Bandiera Blu) for several years. It offers a camping area with spacious equipped pitches and a village area with several types of mobile homes and bungalows. It has a restaurant, bar, entertainment and live shows, as well as wifi, air conditioning and parking. Activities include excursions, petanque, table tennis, football and a children's playroom. It is next to the Cilento National Park, one kilometre from the Scavi di Velia, and close to Palinuro, Paestum and the Gole del Calore.
