Description of the campsite
Camping Spartacus, in Pompei, offers a stay just 50 metres from the entrance to the Pompeii excavations. Founded in 1975 by Don Gennaro, it is the first campsite in the town. It has grass or gravel pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Its masseria (farmhouse) has 5 rooms (one double, two triple and two quadruple), 300 metres from the main entrance to the ruins. The campsite has bungalows, a restaurant, supermarket, bar, laundry, playground, wifi, air conditioning and parking, as well as an electric car charger. In 2016 it received the Campania Quality Mark (Marchio di Qualità). Dogs are allowed.
