Description of the campsite
Camping Le Due Barche is in Scanzano Jonico, on the Basilicata coast, close to an endless sandy beach where the sea deepens gently. From here you can reach Matera in about 40 minutes. It welcomes all kinds of travellers: in a camper, tent or caravan, and it has bungalows and mobile homes. Its open spaces make it easy to settle in comfortably, and facilities include a restaurant, bar, supermarket, laundry, playground, library and wifi. It is adapted for people with reduced mobility and dogs are allowed. The surrounding area lets you discover the strawberry city and places such as Pisticci or Aliano, near the calanchi (badlands) park. A starting point for exploring the area and enjoying the Ionian Sea coast.
